A practical written fundraising plan and initial execution roadmap that prioritizes revenue tactics, assigns roles for board and staff, and includes basic templates and an outreach schedule. Specific tactics and timelines will be defined with volunteers during discovery.
This project will help Mountain Top Cares close a critical funding gap so peer support, education, referrals, advocacy, and other non-clinical services remain available to our rural community (served over 150 people/year). Volunteer support will directly strengthen recovery access and reduce harm and stigma.
We have a grant writer and committed staff/board ready to collaborate. Volunteers will be provided background on current fundraising and the $150,000 shortfall, and details will be provided. Leadership will work with volunteers to adopt and begin implementing the plan.

Organization Mission

Mountain Top Cares Coalition is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and their loved ones impacted by alcohol and substance use disorders, as well as other addiction-related challenges. We provide non-clinical services, including certified peer support, education, referrals, social networks, and advocacy. Our mission is to empower those we serve, promote and sustain recovery, prevent addiction, and reduce harm and stigma. Vision We envision a community where the instances and impact of alcohol and substance use disorders is significantly reduced, and recovery is not only possible but celebrated. A community where everyone seeking recovery has access to high-quality care and the resources they need to achieve their goals and thrive.
