We want to develop a consistent content system for Black Girl Magic Day that builds awareness, engagement, and visibility across our digital platforms. This includes creating branded social media posts, graphics, and short-form storytelling content that reflects our mission, our programs, and our community. The goal is to help more families, partners, and supporters understand what BGMD does, why it matters, and how they can get involved.
Our mission relies on connection. If families, partners, and supporters can’t clearly see what BGMD offers or how to get involved, we limit our reach. Strong digital storytelling helps us reach the families we serve, the partners who can help us grow, and the supporters who can sustain the work. Content expands access to our mission.
We’ve already mapped out brand voice, target audience, content priorities, campaign themes, and key dates for 2026–2027. Our internal team will provide the volunteer with creative references, messaging notes, brand assets (logo, colors, fonts), and program information to ensure alignment. We’ll provide quick feedback cycles, implement approved content in real time, and keep communication tight to avoid bottlenecks. The goal is to make the collaboration smooth, purposeful, and execution-focused so the work actually goes live and supports organizational visibility.

Organization Mission

Black Girl Magic Day exists to create safe, affirming, and inspiring spaces where Black girls and girls of color can grow in confidence, creativity, and self-belief.
