We need a volunteer who can virtually conduct a comprehensive HR assessment and then deliver concrete recommendations on necessary improvements.

Our nonprofit needs your help to build organizational resiliency by investing in our people. During this project, a volunteer will assess where our organization stands internally, brainstorm how to improve upon weaknesses, and how we can further lean into organizational strengths. Investigating which HR policies should be implemented, researching new remote work standards, or conducting an internal engagement survey may all be elements of this work.
CAPE's mission is to advocate for Asian and Pacific Islander representation in film and TV. With our small but growing team, we need assistance putting together a strong foundation in internal policies and employee support. Our team members are dedicated to serving our API community, but oftentimes that means we don't have the bandwidth to focus internally on our employee policies. Assistance from an HR expert would help guide us in creating a strong workplace for all of our employees as we grow.
This project will involve the exchange of sensitive internal information. With that in mind, we've done the pre-work internally to ensure leadership and staff buy-in to this work and gather the information that will be handed off to the volunteer. We need help identifying and crafting policies for our handbook. The recommendations shared by our volunteer partner will be incorporated into our operations and people strategy in the coming months.
