We’re seeking a skilled volunteer to help us build and refine automated workflows between Givebutter and Mailchimp. These integrations are essential to strengthening our donor stewardship, ensuring timely and accurate tagging, segmentation, and follow-up communications. By lending your Zapier expertise, you’ll help us streamline internal processes, reduce manual data entry, and create a more responsive, personalized experience for our supporters. Your support will have a direct impact on our ability to engage donors efficiently and focus more of our time on mission-driven work.
This project directly strengthens our ability to advance children’s environmental health by ensuring our communications and donor engagement systems run efficiently and accurately. By automating key workflows between Givebutter and Mailchimp, we can spend less time on manual data entry and troubleshooting—and more time delivering resources, training, and advocacy that protect children from environmental health hazards. Streamlined systems also help us communicate more effectively with supporters, which fuels the programs, campaigns, and policy work that create safer environments for children and families. Your expertise will ripple far beyond technology: it will help power a national movement dedicated to giving every child a healthy place to learn, grow, and thrive.
To set this project up for success, we’ve already completed the groundwork needed for a smooth and productive partnership. Our team has clarified our goals for automating Givebutter and Mailchimp and mapped out the key donor data points and tags we want to improve. We’ve gathered all relevant materials—including current processes, data fields, and examples of desired workflows—so a volunteer can jump in with clarity from day one. We also have team members ready to test and implement the new automations as they’re built, ensuring that outcomes are integrated immediately and sustainably into our operations. We’re committed to timely communication, clear feedback, and making this a collaborative, rewarding experience for the volunteer.
