We'd like to connect with a volunteer who can help us determine whether a formal financial audit is required for our 501(c)(3) based on our size, funding sources, and regulatory obligations. If an audit is required, we'd like the volunteer to help us understand the audit requirements, outline the audit process, and identify next steps. If an audit is not required, we'd like the volunteer to advise on whether a CPA review is appropriate and help us prepare a summary of financial readiness and documentation needs for upcoming tax filings.

Details about our financial records, timelines, and prior filings will be provided during volunteer interviews.
Completing an audit or CPA review and accurate tax filings will strengthen our financial accountability and compliance, increasing donor and stakeholder confidence and enabling the organization to operate more effectively in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. Volunteers will directly support better stewardship of resources.
Details will be provided about available records, prior filings, and decision-makers. We will collaborate closely with the volunteer, respond promptly to questions, and provide access to necessary contacts so the work can be completed in a timely way.
