Frontiers of the Mind Film is a nonprofit documentary project inspired by the Dalai Lama’s vision of scientific, cultural, and humanist exchange. The film follows young Tibetan monastic scholars as they collaborate with leading neuroscience labs, exploring how these conversations can positively impact well-being and build bridges between cultures.
Our existing site uses a Squarespace template but isn’t functioning optimally. We’ll brief you on our platform, budget, branding, stakeholder groups, and target audiences. We’ve compiled photos, language drafts, and examples of sites we like. You’ll also collaborate with a seasoned communications consultant overseeing best practices.

Organization Mission

We are a small production company developing a nonprofit documentary film inspired by the Dalai Lama’s ground-breaking vision of scientific, cultural, and humanist exchange with scientists. Entitled “Frontiers of the Mind: The 100-Year Project,” the film intimately follows a small cohort of young Tibetan monastic scholars as they bring the Dalai Lama’s vision to leading university neuroscience labs. We bring to light the translational value of this conversation in investigating how the findings of this exchange might positively affect well being and build bridges between cultures and ideologies. This project is made possible thanks to Emory University’s Emory Tibet Science Initiative, Mind & Life Institute, and the close cooperation with many scientists and lay people. It is part of the Indo-Tibetan tradition to treat every being with compassion, and we are committed to this intention and action in our filmmaking approach.
