Create a business plan for a small housing development on available land in a rural Texas community. The plan should define the mission and target services for transitional-age young people and senior adults, outline partnership options with the community college and other community-based partners, include mixed-income housing options to serve historically underserved populations, and detail governance and next steps. Details will be provided during volunteer interviews.
This plan will help create equitable housing, training, and economic pathways for underserved transitional-age youth and senior adults, advance systemic solutions to racial and environmental inequities, and leverage local land and community-college partnerships to rebuild opportunity and resilience in the community.
We have identified available land, target populations, and community partners. Further details will be provided. Our staff and community leaders will join interviews, share site and stakeholder information, and review drafts. We value collaborative, iterative work and will support volunteer access to materials and feedback.

Organization Mission

We seek systemic solutions to longstanding problems of racial inequities, especially those impacting underserved marginalized youth and young adults of color. The intersections of climate change, environmental injustice, and social injustice are key to our work. We work together with youth leaders and others to find equitable solutions that address the legacy of systemic racism, environmental injustice, and social injustice. We seek to rebuild the U.S. economy and social fabric in ways that work for everyone.
