We are looking for a volunteer skilled in React and experienced with AI optimizations to guide our team on website efficiencies.

This project will deliver: Paired programming sessions and asynchronous front-end code reviews focused on React, a concise set of best-practice recommendations for the front-end codebase, and actionable guidance on safely adopting generative-AI tools.
Improving front-end practices and safe AI use will help Boxtribute ship features faster and maintain a high-quality open-source product. Volunteers will directly boost the platform’s ability to empower local responders to run transparent, efficient aid logistics in crisis settings.
We will arrange regular remote pairing times with our lead developer and coordinate brief asynchronous code reviews. The lead developer and volunteer contributors will be available to test and adopt recommendations; finer details and access will be provided during our work together.
