About the Opportunity

Face Friends Foundation is an all-volunteer, fully virtual nonprofit based in Sugar Hill, Georgia, building the Sugar Hill Workforce Academy — a commercial culinary incubator kitchen and technical literacy lab serving the Gwinnett County corridor. Our mission is to create real economic opportunity for youth, unemployed adults, and small business owners in our community.

Our most pressing strategic gap is the absence of a structured stakeholder engagement strategy. We are actively pursuing corporate sponsors, major donors, community partners, local businesses, government entities, and philanthropic foundations simultaneously — but without a coherent framework that prioritizes who we approach, in what order, with what message, and through what channel. The result is scattered outreach that lacks the consistency, credibility, and strategic sequencing that serious stakeholders expect before committing their resources or relationships to a nonprofit.

What is getting in the way of progress is the absence of a stakeholder mapping and engagement framework built on proven nonprofit relationship development principles. We know who we need — we do not have a disciplined strategy for how to reach them, cultivate them, and convert them into committed partners and donors.

We have made previous attempts to engage stakeholders through corporate outreach, ambassador programs, and partnership prospecting — however these efforts have been reactive and uncoordinated rather than driven by a deliberate engagement strategy.

We need a pro bono nonprofit strategy consultant to help us identify, map, prioritize, and build a structured engagement plan for every category of stakeholder critical to launching the Sugar Hill Workforce Academy and achieving our $150,000 escrow target.

By the end of this project we expect the pro bono consultant to deliver a focused, actionable stakeholder map and prioritization framework that tells us exactly who to approach first, in what order, and why — giving our lean volunteer team a clear starting point for every stakeholder conversation we have between now and our $150,000 escrow target.

The specific deliverables are:

1. Stakeholder Map A clear, organized map of our four to five highest priority stakeholder categories — corporate sponsors, philanthropic foundations, government workforce development entities, community anchor partners, and major individual donors — with each category assessed for relevance, funding potential, and engagement readiness relative to our current stage of development.

2. Prioritization Framework A concrete recommendation on which stakeholder categories to approach first, second, and third — sequenced specifically around our $150,000 escrow target and our October 19 digital Academy launch — with a clear rationale for each priority decision.

3. Quick Win Opportunities A short list of the highest probability stakeholder targets within our priority categories — the relationships most likely to convert quickly given our location in Gwinnett County, Georgia and our workforce development mission.

What success looks like: Every member of our partnerships team walks away from this project knowing exactly who to approach first and why. Our outreach stops being scattered and starts being strategic — focused on the stakeholders most likely to move us toward our $150,000 escrow target in the shortest realistic timeline.

Success looks like a foundation that walks into every stakeholder conversation with confidence, clarity, and a compelling strategy behind it. When this project is complete, every member of our partnerships and fundraising team will know exactly who they are approaching, what they are saying, and what they are asking for — in the right order, at the right time, through the right channel. We will know we have achieved success when our scattered outreach transforms into a disciplined relationship development engine that consistently moves stakeholders from awareness to commitment. Corporate sponsors will receive a consistent, professionally sequenced engagement experience. Major donors will be cultivated with intention rather than approached reactively. Community partners will understand exactly how their involvement advances a shared mission. Most importantly our $150,000 escrow target and our October 19 digital Academy launch will have a structured stakeholder strategy behind them rather than hopeful outreach alone. A strong stakeholder engagement strategy does not just open doors — it keeps them open, builds the foundation's reputation in Gwinnett County, and creates the lasting community relationships that sustain the Workforce Academy long after its doors open.
