NexoAfrica is seeking a skilled volunteer to help us optimize and formalize a CRM system that supports our expanding network of partners, sponsors, mentors, and program participants. Our organization engages with global institutions and ecosystems such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), United Nations forums, as well as universities, corporations, and community organizations. As these relationships grow, we need a structured system to manage communications, track engagement, and preserve institutional knowledge.

Specifically, we are seeking support with:

Evaluating our current contact management approach

Designing a scalable CRM structure aligned with programs and revenue goals

Building pipelines for partnerships, sponsorships, mentors, and applicants

Defining key data fields, tagging, and workflows for follow-ups and reporting

Creating simple SOPs or user guides to ensure long-term adoption

The volunteer will work closely with the founder using Google Workspace–compatible tools. The outcome will be a centralized, easy-to-use CRM that strengthens partner relationships and enables NexoAfrica to scale its impact sustainably.
This CRM optimization project directly supports NexoAfrica’s mission to empower young African professionals and committed allies by strengthening the systems that connect people to opportunity. As NexoAfrica works across programs, partnerships, and global platforms—including engagement with institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, and UN-adjacent forums—effective relationship management is essential to turning conversations into meaningful outcomes.

A well-structured CRM will allow our team to better track partnerships, mentorships, sponsorships, and program participants, ensuring that no relationships or opportunities are lost due to capacity constraints. This project will improve how we follow up with community members, coordinate mentors and partners, and expand access to professional development pathways.

Volunteers contributing to this project will help build the infrastructure that enables NexoAfrica to scale its impact—supporting more cohorts, deeper partnerships, and more consistent engagement for young professionals seeking access to networks, guidance, and global career opportunities.
NexoAfrica has secured internal buy-in from leadership and program leads around the need to formalize and optimize our CRM as we scale partnerships, programs, and revenue-generating activities. The founder will serve as the primary project lead and decision-maker, ensuring clear direction, timely feedback, and consistent engagement throughout the volunteer partnership.

In preparation for this project, we have clarified our core stakeholder groups (partners, sponsors, mentors, members, and applicants), documented existing contacts and outreach efforts, and identified priority relationships, including those connected to global institutions such as the World Bank, IMF, and UN-adjacent forums. We have organized our materials within Google Workspace and are ready to provide the volunteer with access to relevant data, workflows, and context.

We will commit to regular weekly check-ins, clearly defined milestones, and immediate implementation of recommendations. All CRM outputs—pipelines, workflows, and documentation—will be adopted by our team to ensure the volunteer’s work delivers long-term operational value beyond the engagement.
