We’re seeking a volunteer to help us create a video time capsule that preserves recorded student interview segments in a cohesive, professionally edited format for long-term storage and future playback. The final deliverable will be a completed master video file, along with export files and simple playback instructions.

The volunteer will help film or advise on filming, edit the footage into a cohesive video, and prepare the final files. Specific details and materials will be provided during volunteer interviews.
This project will create a lasting keepsake that celebrates students and strengthens parent engagement. Volunteers will help deliver a memorable resource for end-of-year celebrations and future graduation reflections.
We have already written the interview questions and the teachers will be working with the students to each write their own "script". We will also take care of all logistics including booking the location and scheduling the students. Parent and teacher volunteers will be available to assist with the filming sessions and review draft edits so the final video reflects student voices and is ready for future playback.

Organization Mission

The objectives of the Fifth Grade Committee include but are not limited to: * Develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement. * Foster and encourage parent participation on all levels. * Develop a cooperative working relationship between the Fifth Grade parents, staff, and PTA of Post Road Elementary School. * Fundraising for events specific to the Fifth Grade class, including the Yearbook, End-of-Year Party, and collaborate as needed for Capstone trip. * Provide support and resources to the school for the benefit of and educational growth of the students.
