One-Pager Design

My goal for this Taproot Project is to create a series of visually appealing and well-designed PDFs that will accompany our monthly info emails and two key fundraising campaigns for Battle Buddy Backup. Specifically, I need help with:

-Designing a monthly info email PDF: This document will contain updates about our initiatives, upcoming
events, and relevant news about our nonprofit. It's important that these emails engage and inform our
audience of veterans, volunteers, and donors.
-Designing two campaign-specific PDFs: These documents will be sent out as part of our campaigns for:
-Healing Through Paintball: A therapeutic initiative focused on helping veterans through the sport of
paintball. The PDF will include campaign details, upcoming events, and ways for the community to
support or get involved.
-Service Dog Health & Wellness: This campaign will educate donors and supporters about the
importance of health care and wellness for service dogs, as well as how their support can make a
difference in the lives of disabled veterans.

Each of these emails will be sent monthly or as needed, with a total of 26 emails and their corresponding PDFs throughout the year.

Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by:

-Enhancing Communication: The PDFs will improve the way we communicate with our supporters by
providing clear, attractive, and actionable information. This will help veterans, volunteers, and donors stay
informed and engaged with our programs and services.
-Increasing Engagement: The well-designed PDFs will increase engagement by making our communications
more accessible and appealing. This is crucial for both maintaining existing relationships and attracting
new supporters.
-Supporting Campaigns: The specific campaign PDFs will provide vital information on how people can get
involved, contribute, or spread the word about our cause. This will help us increase participation in both
the Healing Through Paintball initiative and the Service Dog Health & Wellness campaign, driving more
awareness and donations.
-Improving Fundraising: The PDFs will include clear calls to action for donations and will showcase how
contributions directly benefit veterans and their service dogs. This is essential for maintaining a steady
stream of donations to support our mission.

Ultimately, these PDFs will be key to our ongoing efforts to support disabled veterans by improving how we communicate with our community, engage donors, and promote our mission. By helping us create these materials, the volunteer will directly contribute to the success of our outreach and fundraising efforts.

My team and I have prepared for this project by:
-Gathering Content: We’ve already outlined the key information for each campaign and email, including
text, images, and calls to action that need to be included in the PDFs.
-Internal Buy-in: We’ve received internal approval for the project, and our leadership team is fully
committed to working with volunteers to ensure the timely creation and distribution of the PDFs.
-Providing Brand Assets: We have an established brand guide with specific fonts, color schemes, logos, and
imagery that should be used in the designs to maintain consistency across all materials.
-Clear Objectives: Each PDF will have a clear goal—whether it’s driving donations, recruiting volunteers, or
informing our community. We will be able to guide the volunteer with specific requests for each document
to make sure they align with our mission and objectives.
-Regular Communication: We will ensure regular check-ins with the volunteer and provide timely feedback
to keep the project on track and aligned with our vision.

By providing these materials and clear goals, we’ve laid the groundwork for a smooth collaboration, ensuring the volunteer has everything they need to succeed and deliver the finished PDFs on time.
