We seek a web designer to create structure and design options for our nonprofit website. The project's deliverable is a draft of architecture and design concepts that we can easily share with a web developer volunteer or a member of our team who will use the guide to create our new site.

The volunteer should assess and incorporate our goals and needs and consider our key audiences. The designer should also assess our technical capabilities. I deploy with netlify. It is a Firebase full-stack React project. It has Plaid integration.

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired features, our web capabilities, and our technical expertise. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will audit our current site to create a draft of site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements.
doobneek Inc builds free, privacy-first digital tools that help immigrants, asylum seekers, and low-income individuals achieve stability through financial literacy, employment readiness, and secure access to legal resources. Our website is the main way people discover these tools and learn how to use them safely.

A redesigned site will make it easier for nonprofits, volunteers, and community members to access our résumé builder, asylum form assistant, and financial education app - each built to protect user privacy while expanding opportunity. Improved design and structure will help users quickly find what they need, access services on mobile, and build trust in our work.

By improving user experience, accessibility, and clarity, this project will directly support our mission to make financial and legal empowerment tools freely available to those navigating instability. It will also strengthen partnerships with nonprofits across the country that refer their clients to our platform.
We have already thought about and are prepared to brief you about our current website platform, budget restrictions for the build, our branding collaterals and norms, and information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences. It is a ready and usable websit,e but it has many glitches and incomplete features, it needs a better mobile version and a flutter mobile app for offline support. I will also have interns from the City University of New York hopefully join next year.
