A volunteer will review your existing grant proposals, provide edits and recommendations to strengthen them, and—if they have relevant experience and you authorize—help prepare and submit grant applications. Specific grants, deadlines, and submission permissions will be discussed with volunteers.

Improved and submitted grant proposals will increase the organization’s ability to fund trauma-informed services, safe spaces, and fresh-start programs. Volunteers’ time will directly support more people receiving compassionate assistance, protection, and the chance to rebuild their lives.

We will share current proposals and any grant guidelines. Volunteers will work collaboratively to refine materials and define next steps; additional details will be provided during volunteer interviews.
