Set up QuickBooks for the organization with a clear income and expense tracking structure, basic configuration, and a simple chart of accounts. Provide a short training session and a concise how-to guide for staff to maintain the system. Specifics (access, existing records) will be provided during interviews.
A reliable QuickBooks system will improve financial transparency and free staff time so STEAM BEANS can focus on simplifying STEM, one girl, one family at a time. Volunteers will help strengthen behind-the-scenes systems that sustain and grow hands-on STEAM learning for children and families.
Our small team will participate in training sessions and collaborate with the volunteer to share context and schedule time. We will be ready to implement recommended practices and will provide necessary details and materials during volunteer interviews to ensure smooth handoff.
