Create a GitHub-hosted Laravel starter repository that serves as a reusable template for open-source projects. Deliverables include a standardized frontend homepage and dashboard (work already started), documented environment and configuration patterns, a standardized database setup, a list of recommended extensions, and security and optimization guidance. Specifics will be discussed with volunteers.

This project will reduce technical barriers for developers by providing a secure, optimized, and well-documented starting point for open-source Laravel projects. Volunteers will help create a reusable tool that supports accessible digital projects and accelerates community-driven development.

Volunteers will receive access to the existing repository and notes about the current frontend. Additional details will be provided during interviews. The team will be available for regular check-ins, review pull requests, and merge final changes. Clear acceptance criteria and documentation will be co-developed with the volunteer.
