Help us Design a Communications Plan

We would like to create a clear and actionable communications plan with the help of a skilled volunteer. This plan will have two main components:

Internal Communications – A framework for how our team and stakeholders stay aligned on goals, updates, and responsibilities. This includes setting communication rhythms, clarifying key messages, and ensuring that all staff, board members, and partners are on the same page.

External Communications – A structured plan for how we share our story with partners, supporters, donors, and the public. This will include developing messaging for email campaigns, social media, and community updates that reinforce our fundraising priorities and align with our strategic plan.

The volunteer’s support will help us strengthen our organizational voice, streamline communication across audiences, and ensure consistency between our fundraising, programmatic goals, and long-term strategy.

By aligning our communications with our fundraising and strategic plan, we will be able to:

- Build stronger relationships with supporters and partners.
- Attract new donors and resources to sustain and grow our programs.
- Share success stories and highlight the voices of the communities we serve.

We are well-positioned to set this project up for success. Our team is already in place and has been briefed on the vision for this communications plan. Staff members bring skills in Canva, social media management, writing, and content creation, and they are eager to contribute. What we need is the leadership and strategic direction that a skilled volunteer can provide—someone with experience to guide our efforts, help us establish best practices, and ensure that our communications align with our organizational goals. With a motivated team, the necessary tools, and clear buy-in from leadership, the stage is set for a smooth and productive collaboration.
