The Bully No More Foundation Ltd. promotes BULLY NO MORE! a musical for children in elementary schools to perform for their peers, and older students, community theaters, summer stock, and traveling troupes to perform for families. A volunteer is needed to research and compile a prioritized list of national grant opportunities that support marketing, administration, and grants to schools and theaters in low-income neighborhoods to cover royalties and production costs. The volunteer will also write the grants with content provided by the Foundation. Include funder name, eligibility, deadlines, application links, and contact info. Details will be provided in interviews.
Securing national grants will fund marketing and administration and create funding to help schools and community theaters in low-income neighborhoods stage BULLY NO MORE! expanding access to arts-based bullying prevention. Volunteers will directly enable more children, educators, and families to engage in empathy-building performances and safer, inclusive environments. Prevent Child Abuse has written a BULLY NO MORE! Discussion Guide for elementary school teachers to use in their classrooms in conjunction with the performances.
The Foundation has exhausted Vermont grants and is ready to work with a volunteer to pursue national opportunities. We will provide organizational background and any existing materials during collaboration. The volunteer will deliver a prioritized shortlist with rationale and write the grants.
