We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to help us modernize, maintain, and optimize our existing website so it better communicates our mission and expands our impact. A strong online presence is essential to connecting with supporters, attracting funding, and delivering critical resources to the communities we serve.

The volunteer will support us by:

Refreshing and Modernizing Our Website: Update the design, structure, and features of our current site to make it more engaging, responsive, and visually appealing.

Improving Performance and User Experience: Optimize site speed, security, accessibility, and navigation to ensure a smooth experience across devices and platforms.

Enhancing Functionality: Add or improve tools and features (such as donation portals, program pages, or contact forms) that make it easier for visitors to engage with us.

Providing Documentation: Share basic guidance on site management so our team can confidently maintain and update the site going forward.

With just 2–5 hours a week over several weeks, your expertise will help transform our online presence into a powerful tool for outreach, engagement, and growth.
Our website is a critical tool for advancing our mission to deliver education, wellness, and support services to underserved and vulnerable populations. A modern, easy-to-navigate site will allow us to reach more people, communicate our impact more effectively, and connect visitors with programs and resources that can improve their lives.

By improving our digital presence, this project will help us attract new supporters, strengthen partnerships, and expand participation in key initiatives such as Street Care and Wellness Week. Your contribution will directly amplify our ability to grow our programs, deepen our community impact, and sustain essential services for the long term.
We’ve laid a strong foundation to ensure a smooth and successful collaboration. Our leadership team fully supports this project, and we’ve identified the key priorities for the site refresh, including desired functionality, improved navigation, and updated design elements. We have gathered all existing content, branding materials, and relevant program information that will guide the development process.

You’ll also have a dedicated staff contact who will provide timely feedback and keep the project moving forward. Once the updated site is complete, our internal team will manage ongoing content updates and maintenance, ensuring your work continues to make an impact long after the project ends.

Organization Mission

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
