We’re seeking a skilled brand designer to help Culture Kids Productions develop a cohesive and joyful visual identity that reflects our mission of connecting communities and helping children discover the world through curiosity and shared experiences. We’d love support creating a refreshed logo that feels welcoming and imaginative, a complete brand identity system including a color palette, typography, and graphic elements, and a style guide that shows how these elements come together across print and digital platforms. We also hope to create a consistent social media look and feel, with templates, banners, and visual assets for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Our goal is for every visual element, from our podcast cover to our website and outreach materials, to reflect the same warmth, adventure, and belonging that families experience in each Culture Kids episode. We’re excited to collaborate with a creative partner who shares our passion for storytelling, education, and cultural connection.
At Culture Kids Productions, we’re building a platform that brings communities together in creative, meaningful ways for young children and their families. Through our award-winning nonprofit podcast and educational initiatives, we’ve partnered with more than 80 cultural organizations, authors, and educators, from museums and cultural centers to artists and storytellers, to help children explore the world through imagination, sound, and connection.

Our mission is to help children find connections through similarities while learning about global cultures with curiosity and adventure. Each episode invites kids aboard the magical “Culture Train” to visit new places, hear new languages, and discover how people around the world live, eat, play, and create, helping families everywhere see how much we share in common.

This brand design project will help us visually express that mission. We already connect communities through storytelling and sound; now we need a cohesive, joyful, and professional visual identity including refreshed brand elements that align with our values and audience.

By sharing your creative talents, you’ll help shape how families, educators, and partners see Culture Kids, not just as a podcast, but as a community platform where every child and culture belongs. Your design will become the visual bridge that connects our global partners, inspires curiosity, and welcomes the next generation of explorers.
Culture Kids Productions is an award-winning nonprofit and proud creator of the Culture Kids Podcast, an Apple “Essential” in the Kids & Family category and Webby Award winner for Best Kids & Family Episode. With over 500,000 downloads, our global audience continues to grow as families, educators, and cultural partners tune in to explore the world through creativity and connection.

We’ve already built a strong foundation for this project. Our board members, advisors, and creative partners are aligned and ready to move forward with a refreshed brand identity that reflects the heart of our mission. We’ve gathered design references, brand goals, and clear implementation plans for updating our website, social media, and outreach materials once the new visual system is in place.

As a pro bono partner, we’re highly organized, responsive, and collaborative. We’re committed to providing clear direction, timely feedback, and full implementation so that your design work makes an immediate and visible impact. Together, we’ll create a cohesive visual identity that helps Culture Kids continue inspiring curiosity, belonging, and global connection for children everywhere.

Organization Mission

Culture Kids Productions is an award-winning nonprofit organization and family podcast dedicated to fostering a global mindset in every child. We take young listeners on imaginative adventures to explore the traditions, stories, foods, languages, and animals from various cultures around the world. Beyond teaching customs, we focus on the individuals and families behind them. By partnering with families, cultural organizations, educators, and authors, we highlight authentic voices and lived experiences, making each episode personal and meaningful. Our goal is to help children grow up curious, open-hearted, and connected to the world around them. Through these shared stories, Culture Kids builds bridges between communities—one joyful journey at a time. As one 6-year-old listener shared, our show "creates love around the world." Inspired by Darren Hardy’s The Compound Effect, we believe that small, consistent actions can lead to extraordinary change. By introducing children to the wonders of global cultures in an engaging, heartfelt way, we plant the seeds of curiosity, empathy, and understanding that will grow into compassionate, collaborative individuals. We recognize that when cultural education is absent in a child's early years, the void of knowledge can lead to misunderstandings. Over time, this can breed fear and division. Our mission is to break this cycle by cultivating a brighter, more connected world—one where children embrace differences with curiosity, build connections through shared experiences, and form lasting friendships that transcend cultural backgrounds. Grounded in heartfelt storytelling, our approach helps children not only understand but deeply connect with the cultures around them. We aim to nurture a love for humanity and exploration, empowering kids to lead with empathy, foster meaningful relationships, and become champions of a more unified, peaceful world. Together, we are shaping a generation that will build a future where understanding and connection unite us all.
