We are looking for a volunteer to prepare and/or review and complete the annual IRS Form 990 and California Form 199 for our 501(c)(3), and advise on filing requirements and next steps. We are specifically looking to engage a CPA or an experienced accountant during this project.

Accurate, timely tax filings keep our nonprofits compliant and operational so we can focus on expanding Ranked Choice Voting across California. Volunteers directly support our ability to continue outreach and advocacy that gives Californians a stronger voice.

We have identified the need for professional assistance for our 501c3 (under $500k). Details and required documents will be provided to the volunteer during onboarding, and our staff will coordinate to implement the completed filings. Volunteers will have a collaborative point person.
