Preparing Audited Financials

We are looking for volunteer support in preparing audited financial statements—a critical need as we pursue vital funding opportunities. We were unable to maintain proper accounting records or documentation of all expenditures. As of now, we have recently opened a small business checking account with a modest balance and currently have no revenue.

We believe that with your support, we can meet the requirements for these grants and finally secure the funding we need to bring our programs to scale. Pro bono assistance from your team would not only fulfill an immediate need, but would significantly strengthen our infrastructure and sustainability moving forward.

Although Roundball Education Inc. received its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination from the IRS in December 2024, our work began in earnest in 2018. Since our inception, we have operated with extremely limited resources. During this period, I personally covered most expenses out-of-pocket, allowing us to continue our work despite lacking formal financial infrastructure. Despite these challenges, we are actively seeking support to expand our impact. We recently applied for a $200,000 grant and are currently applying for a federal award of $800,000. Both opportunities require audited financial statements, which we do not currently have the capacity to produce internally.
