We aim to create a high-conversion, multi-channel Digital Fundraising Strategy focused on achieving our $40,000 end-of-year target for general operating funds. The volunteer will help us leverage our significant digital reach (1.2 million annual website views) over a short 4–6 week project. This requires them to design an integrated, data-driven plan across several critical areas. Specifically, we need assistance with developing a Donor Conversion Strategy that maps the journey from anonymous viewer to donor, a Donor Segmentation Plan to effectively cultivate new major donors (gifts over $100) and grow our sustaining donor program (currently five monthly donors), and—most crucially—a Messaging Strategy for email and social communications to drive action and meet our goal. The final deliverable will be an actionable strategy document we can execute immediately.
This project directly supports TAMI's mission to discover, preserve, make accessible, and educate the public about Texas' film heritage by securing the funds necessary for our operations. As an online-only archive, TexasArchive.org is our sole public interface, and the general operating funds raised through this campaign are the lifeblood that supports every aspect of our mission, from film processing to digital infrastructure. Your strategy will act as a force multiplier, creating the pipeline that transforms passive viewers into active, committed donors. You will directly fund the essential work that keeps Texas history alive, allowing our small team to focus their limited time on preservation. You won't just be crafting an email strategy; you'll be sustaining the digital archive of an entire state, ensuring these unique visual histories remain accessible for generations to come.
We are committed to making this a smooth, efficient, and successful pro bono partnership. This is a top priority project for TAMI leadership, and the Managing Director is fully committed to this work, serving as the dedicated, single point of contact to ensure alignment and quick decision-making. We have proactively gathered all materials, including our fundraising data (50 active donors; average gift $479.03, median $85.00), website traffic data, and email metrics, and are ready to share immediate access. We are prepared to execute this plan immediately. The Managing Director will lead the implementation, translating the recommendations into concrete campaigns for our communications team and web developer, ensuring the strategy doesn't sit on a shelf but is immediately put into action to secure our $40,000 goal.
