Organization Background:
After Cancer, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving quality of life for people impacted by cancer by normalizing conversations around sexual health and intimacy in cancer care. We develop accredited online training for oncology providers, patient-facing educational courses, and consulting services to help cancer centers integrate sexual health care into their practice.
As our programs grow, we need support to clarify our service offerings and create a cohesive marketing strategy. Right now, we have several services (provider training, patient educational materials for clinics, consulting, and on-site workshops and speaking engagements), but we need help refining how these fit together, how to bundle or package them, and how to present them clearly to partners, funders, and clients.
Project Goals:
Review our current service offerings.
Identify opportunities to bundle or package services for clinics, cancer centers, and community partners.
Develop a clear, compelling marketing strategy that communicates our value.
Recommend additional services, positioning, or revenue opportunities we may not be considering.
Provide guidance on messaging and materials to support outreach.
Deliverables:
Marketing strategy roadmap (short document or slide deck).
Recommendations for bundling/packaging services.
Key messaging framework to guide marketing materials.

We’re seeking a volunteer with expertise in marketing strategy, nonprofit service packaging, or health/education program promotion. Experience with nonprofits or healthcare-related organizations is a plus.

Impact:
With a clear marketing strategy, After Cancer will be better positioned to grow sustainably, reach more clinics and cancer centers, and ultimately improve care for patients impacted by cancer nationwide.

I feel we're at a tipping point of success (demand out pacing our bandwidth) or staying small and struggling to have revenues beat expenses monthly. A marketing strategy will lock in a plan with revenue goals through pay for service or community membership or philanthropy. I'm struggling with what is best for us in the moment and how to move to another business model when needed. currently we're pay for service.
