CRM Selection and Migration

We’re seeking a volunteer with CRM expertise to help us evaluate and select a platform that best fits our organization’s needs and strengthens the impact of our work.

This project will include:
- Assessing our current CRM and identifying limitations.
- Recommending a new CRM solution that aligns with our goals, budget, and technical capacity.
- Advising and assisting with a smooth data transition from our current system to the new one.
- Providing a short training session or clear documentation so our team can confidently manage the CRM going forward.

Estimated Time Commitment: We expect this project will take approximately 5 hours per week over 6–8 weeks (around 30–40 hours total). While we have a timeline in mind, we’re flexible and will work with your availability to ensure the project is both manageable and impactful.

Your work will directly strengthen our ability to raise awareness about FOXP1 syndrome and advance our mission to build a global community that empowers and supports families and individuals by sharing knowledge, inspiring hope, supporting research, and raising awareness. A modern, well-structured CRM will allow us to better track and engage with families, donors, volunteers, and researchers. This infrastructure will help us manage relationships and measure impact in ways that directly support our mission.

We’ve taken steps to prepare for this project by gathering input from our staff and board on the limitations of our current CRM and the features that are most important in a new system. We’ll share this information with the volunteer so they have a clear starting point. Our team is committed to being responsive and providing the necessary data, records, and access to support both the evaluation and migration process.

You’ll also be supported by a dedicated team member who will collaborate with you throughout the project. Together, we can build a system that helps us grow sustainably and extend our reach to families who need us most.

While we’re eager for the volunteer’s expertise in assessing options and guiding us through the data transition, the final decision on which CRM to adopt will rest with our organization. This ensures the system we choose aligns with our capacity and long-term needs. Once selected, we’re prepared to work closely with the volunteer on the data migration and to put their documentation or training into practice so our team can manage the CRM with confidence going forward.
