We’re looking for a strategic, fundraising-savvy volunteer who can help strengthen our grants and development efforts by guiding our team through best practices in prospect research. We’re a new nonprofit with a Gold Seal of Transparency on Candid and access to the Foundation Directory. We already have a dedicated grants team—including a grant writer and researchers—but they’re seeking more experienced support to refine their approach and focus their efforts.

With your help, we’d like to:
• Identify aligned funders (especially those who support refugee-led or Global South initiatives)
• Understand how to assess funder fit and cultivate long-term relationships
• Learn best practices for organizing and tracking funding opportunities
• Get targeted feedback on our current strategy and tools

Your guidance will help us move from early-stage effort to strategic momentum.
Creshendo supports refugees worldwide through access to education, storytelling, and community-powered solutions. Our model is built on refugee leadership and self-determination and to sustain it, we need funding partnerships that match our mission.

By helping us refine our research process and strategy, you’ll directly support our ability to connect with values-aligned funders, increase our grant success rate, and grow programs that are already impacting lives across borders. Your expertise will help us build a development engine that is as thoughtful and mission-aligned as the work we do on the ground.
We’ll come prepared with clear goals, research questions, and access to the Foundation Directory. You’ll collaborate directly with our Executive Director and members of our grants team, who are organized, responsive, and eager to learn.

We’ll tailor the scope to your strengths, whether that’s coaching the team, reviewing our research process, or helping us prioritize outreach. We’re here to make this easy, collaborative, and high-impact.
