Developing a Social Media Strategy

My goal for this Taproot project is to create a concrete social media strategy that all team members can understand and utilize to tell their individual stories about the amazing work that they are doing in the field through our programming.

We have a pretty stagnant Facebook page, and virtually no presence on our Instagram page. We do great work and I think people would support us financially if they saw/knew what we do. What concrete guides be and steps or protocols are necessary to establish in order for team members to take ownership for sharing their part of the story of their fulfillment of our vision and mission?

Through working with our organization our Taproot volunteer will support our mission by making it possible for us to effectively tell our story. We do meaningful and impactful work but it requires funding and awareness by others to fully comprehend and connect to what we are doing. Showing how we are leaning into our vision and mission is key.

My team and I have prepared for this project by examining our individual scopes of work and aligning them with our strategic plan. By looking at the stated goals and the expected outcomes, team members have been asked to identify those things that they do specifically to guarantee those outcomes ones.
