Taproot Foundation is looking for a talented event photographer to help capture the energy, connection, and impact of our Ignite 2025 Summit—a two-day, in-person event in New York City, October 22-23. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills to a mission-driven event that brings together leaders from across the nonprofit, corporate, and public sectors.

Key dates:
-Pre-event planning: September (virtual)
-In-person Summit dates: October 22-23 (on-site, approx. 8 hours/day)
-Final image delivery: November 2

Scope of work:
-Pre-event consultation to align on shot list, brand tone, and storytelling goals
-On-site photography for two full days
-Coverage of keynote presentations, panel discussions and workshops, networking and candid interactions, and branded signage and venue atmosphere
-Post-production editing and delivery of final images

Deliverables:
-A curated set of 100-150 edited high-resolution images
-Digital delivery via shared drive or secure link
-Rights granted for Taproot Foundation's use in marketing and communications
Ignite 2025 is more than a conference—it's a call to action to reimagine pro bono service as essential infrastructure for a stronger, more equitable social sector. Your photography will help us tell that story by capturing the spirit, professionalism, and purpose of the event to inspire future engagement and support.
We'll kick-off this project with a clear pre-event planning session to align on key moments, brand tone, and storytelling goals. We'll provide you with a detailed shot list, context about Taproot's mission, and guidance on capturing authentic, insightful moments. During the event, you'll be set up by our event producer and will have access to key spaces. We’ll work with you to determine the best way to credit your contribution (e.g., social media shout out, being listed as an in-kind sponsor on the event website, etc.) By ensuring logistical clarity and timely feedback, we'll create the conditions for a smooth experience and impactful visual outcomes.
