Affinity To Adobe Transfer

We are looking for a one-off consultation to advise us on working with the accessiility features in Affinity and Adobe. We want to create a series of newsletters that include accessibility features, particularly alt text for images and stylised headings. We work with Affinity, and export the finalised product to pdf.

Our charity works with organisations to help them make sure their ways of working are inclusive for staff and customers who stammer or stutter, or who have other speech differences or disabilities. Organisations can affiliate with our charity and, in return, they get access to a programme of workshops for their staff or members, as well as a quarterly newsletter tailored to their sector. As we're encouraging organisations to be inclusive, it's important that we model inclusivity by considering those who may use screen readers to access our newsletters. We know the principles of accessibility, but we're having technical difficulty in implementing them in the software packages we're using. Your advice and guidance would help us get this right and save us from spending lots of time struggling with this every time we publish a new issue of the newsletter. Please help!

We're really proud of the quarterly newsletters we produce for organisations that have affiliated with our charity. We have a skilled volunteer who creates the newsletters in Affinity, but we're having difficulty retaining the accessibility features when we export to PDF. If you're familar with the accessibility features in Affinity and Adobe, our Services Director and the newsletter volunteer would love to meet with you online and learn from you so that we can get the accessibility features right for the future.
