Annual Fundraising Plan

My goal for this Taproot Project is to create a clear, actionable Annual Fundraising Plan document with goals, timelines, and recommended activities for the year ahead. Specifically, we’d like help with:

-Reviewing our current fundraising activities (small-scale donations, occasional events)
-Setting realistic fundraising goals and targets by funding source (individual donors, grants, corporate sponsors, crowdfunding)
-Mapping out a month-by-month fundraising calendar with suggested tactics (campaigns, appeals, events)
-Guiding the team in effective grant writing.
-Identifying any gaps or opportunities to improve our donor pipeline

The volunteer’s insights and recommendations will be invaluable in helping us build sustainable funding streams to scale our work.

This project can be completed remotely over 4–8 weeks, with weekly check-ins.

Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by:

1)Helping ClearVision Foundation secure the funding needed to provide free eye screenings, cataract surgeries, and prescription glasses to underprivileged communities
2)Enabling us to launch our innovation program to develop adaptive spectacles for people who cannot access regular vision care
3)Strengthening our capacity as a youth-led nonprofit to operate sustainably and expand our impact.

This project will directly contribute to restoring sight and transforming lives for thousands of individuals who would otherwise be left behind.

My team and I have prepared for this project by:
-Gathering all of our existing fundraising materials, past donation records, and outreach examples
-Discussing internally and securing buy-in to implement the plan once completed
-Assigning one point of contact who will be available to meet weekly and provide timely feedback
-Researching examples of strong fundraising plans from other nonprofits to inform our vision

We are fully committed to making this project a success and will ensure the volunteer has all necessary background and context to feel supported.
