Social Media Content Calendar Creation
We’re looking for a mission-aligned marketing strategist to help us create a 3-month social media content calendar that supports the public relaunch of Fair Chance Futures—formerly Justice Through Code. This project will help us build excitement around our new name, highlight our expanded program offerings, and drive engagement with potential Fellows, partners, and supporters.
We’d like the volunteer to:
• Help us align content with key messaging, program launches, and campaign milestones
• Draft a calendar with content themes, example posts, and suggested formats across platforms (primarily LinkedIn, and email)
• Recommend tools or templates for scheduling and reuse by our team going forward
You’ll collaborate with our Executive Director and can expect a structured, well-prepared working environment with weekly check-ins. The ideal timeline for this project is ~4 weeks, with 2–4 hours of collaboration per week.
Fair Chance Futures helps justice-impacted individuals gain access to upwardly mobile careers in the AI economy. Our programs train people to either build or work with AI, depending on their goals and digital skill levels. We’ve reimagined our approach, and now we’re relaunching on a national scale.
But to attract high-potential Fellows, mobilize referral partners, and secure new funding opportunities, we need a strategic, consistent presence on social media that reflects the quality and urgency of our mission.
This calendar will help us tell the world:
• That justice-impacted talent belongs in the future of work
• That AI presents new opportunities for economic mobility
• That we’re building something bold, credible, and future-facing
Your work will be seen by thousands and will directly support learners across the country in accessing transformative careers.
We’ve laid a strong foundation for this work and will make your role easy and impactful:
• We’ve already rebranded as Fair Chance Futures with updated messaging, and program structure
• We have clear communications goals tied to recruitment, partnership development, and visibility
• Our team includes a dedicated Executive Director who is available to collaborate weekly
• We’ll share previous social content, audience insights, program details, and a campaign timeline to inform your work
• Our team is prepared to implement and sustain the calendar you help us build
We’re not just asking for ideas—we’re ready to act on them.
