Grant Writing Assistance

We are seeking a passionate and experienced grant writer to help us secure funding for our programs that serve court-designated victims, support restorative justice practices, and advocate for community-based alternatives to incarceration. With recent reductions in public funding for court-impacted individuals, this work is more urgent than ever.

Tasks we hope you’ll assist with:

Identify and research grant opportunities that align with our mission and work (particularly foundations or funders that prioritize racial justice, victim advocacy, and restorative justice).
Draft and/or edit a compelling general-purpose grant proposal template we can adapt for future applications.
Help us complete at least one active grant application during the project period.
Review our existing program descriptions and outcomes to highlight fundable strengths and impact areas.
If time allows, help develop a simple grants calendar or system for tracking upcoming opportunities.
