We need an experienced accounting professional to help us set up QuickBooks for our nonprofit organization. We're seeking a volunteer to:
-Configure QuickBooks to track multiple funding streams (grants, donations, program revenue)
-Set up chart of accounts appropriate for nonprofit operations
-Create templates for tracking program expenses vs. administrative costs
-Establish workflows for grant reporting and compliance
-Train 2-3 staff members on basic QuickBooks operations
-Document processes for ongoing financial management

We build health, wealth, and power in communities of color through innovative civic engagement technology. We've developed platforms that have engaged hundreds of community Ambassadors and reached over people across North Carolina and other states.

Proper financial management through QuickBooks will:
-Ensure accountability to our funders (including recent $100K+ grants)
-Free up staff time currently spent on manual bookkeeping for direct community work
-Improve our grant reporting capabilities, helping us secure future funding
-Demonstrate financial stewardship that builds trust with community partners
-Support our growth as we scale our Ambassador platform to new communities

Every hour saved on financial administration is an hour we can invest in empowering communities to build civic power. Your expertise will directly support grassroots organizing that strengthens democracy and community resilience.

Our team is committed to learning the system thoroughly and has dedicated time for training sessions. We have a clear timeline for implementation that aligns with our grant reporting schedules.
