We are looking for a talented volunteer to help us design a donation page and write a compelling donation message for our podcast, Everyday Conversations on Race. Currently, our donation page is very basic with just a "Donate" button, but we need something much more engaging that encourages people to support our mission.

Our podcast aims to bring people together across race to engage in open, honest, and meaningful conversations on race, with a focus on disrupting the traditional narratives and breaking down barriers to foster understanding and connection. The work we do is crucial in today's climate, and we need your help to convey the impact our podcast is having and why continued support is so important.

Volunteer Role:

Design a donation page that is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and compelling.

Craft a donation message that clearly communicates the purpose of the podcast, the impact we are having, and why donations are essential to sustaining and growing the show.

Help develop a call to action that resonates with our listeners and encourages them to contribute in a way that feels personal and urgent.

Skills Needed:

Web design experience (preferably with donation page design)

Strong copywriting skills, especially for fundraising messages

Experience with creating engaging and persuasive content for nonprofits or media

Familiarity with best practices in online donation strategies

Why It Matters:
As our podcast continues to grow, we are working hard to sustain the production and promotion costs. Donations from listeners are essential to keep the show running, so we can continue to reach more people and contribute to important conversations about race, bias, and inclusion. Your help will enable us to connect with more donors and inspire them to contribute to the ongoing success of Everyday Conversations on Race.

We will provide the volunteer with our existing communications, donation history, fund-raising letters, emails, and calls that have gotten results, plus other relevant background information. We have an advisory team that can provide their input, along with past donors. (some of whom have past fundraising and marketing experience)
