Key Messaging Development For Cultural Equity Incubator

The Cultural Equity Incubator (CEI), a program of Arts Connect International (ACI), is a shared action workspace and collective for small to mid-sized arts organizations in Boston. Operating through a lateral leadership structure, CEI core partners collaborate to disrupt, experiment, incubate, program, advocate, model, and educate around collective liberation, action, and leadership.

Due to its unconventional nature, this work is challenging to discuss. Funders and other stakeholders have expressed to us the urgency of refining our mission and vision statements and talking points to accurately and effectively communicate the CEI's impact.

This project will help the CEI better communicate its impact and importance. Our work is deeply experimental and innovative, and essential for significant systems change toward justice. Volunteering with us will help us develop key messaging that will advocate for funding, collaborations, and general support for the CEI.

CEI partners have recently re-worked the CEI's mission and vision statements. We are clearer about the direction of the CEI, but need assistance on how to communicate this to others in clear, concise ways.
