We're preparing for several upcoming conferences and speaking engagements, and we need support designing 3 versatile, professional brochures to help us make a strong, consistent impression. Specifically, we're looking for a creative volunteer to help us finalize a tri-fold brochure with three versions for distinct audiences: Youth (high school and college), Employees, and Community-Based Organizations. We've already developed draft copy and a mock-up, but we need guidance and design expertise to bring the pieces to life and ensure they're polished, on-brand, and visually compelling.

Our ideal volunteer will be a passionate design professional with experience in branding and graphic design who can offer both creative insight and technical execution. This project will last 3-4 weeks

This project directly supports our mission to promote health literacy and mental wellness across diverse communities. These brochures will help us connect with key audiences—youth, professionals, and community partners—at conferences and outreach events, ensuring that our message is clear, accessible, and engaging. By helping us tell our story visually, you’ll be amplifying our impact and expanding the reach of our vital programs.

Our team will provide all existing assets—copy drafts, branding guidelines, and initial mock-ups—and serve as active collaborators throughout the design process. We're looking for a designer who can work with us to refine layout, elevate visual storytelling, and help us ensure the brochures are adaptable for both print and digital use.

The Healthcare Navigation Project is an independent 501(c)(3) intentionally designed to disrupt our complex healthcare system with a health literacy and mental health life-skills program for ALL youth transitioning to adult care (HCT), and everyone else. This includes rare or chronic disease, underserved communities, or those with educational disabilities. We bridge the gap in healthcare by empowering all people to learn to actually use healthcare and self-advocate before they need it instead of after when it's too late. We empower people.
