Are you looking for an opportunity to flex your accounting skills? Curious about the wild side of our city, including the parks and coastlines that keep our wildlife and adventurous New Yorkers thriving? 🦆 ☘️🐰

Then please reach out to join Wild City as we seek an accountant to help us keep on track as we develop programs to keep NYC’s wild coast and green spaces humming. 🙂

We’re looking for an accountant who’s familiar with nonprofit, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations to help with our financial reporting and grant management.

This is an easy lift, and the amount of time required is minimal. Plus you’ll be working with a team of professionals who have a background in finance and are used to bookkeeping fundamentals.

We’re incredibly grateful for the help we receive and are happy to support you in any goals you may have with professional recommendations and references. We’ve provided recommendations and references that have helped colleagues and interns enter higher learning programs at MIT, Harvard, Cornell, Columbia, U Michigan, and other universities, as well as develop careers at companies like Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Siemens, Booz Allen Hamilton and more. Thank you sincerely for your kind consideration! 🙂

We’re a new organization but already making an outsized impact partnering with the Brooklyn Public Library and an award-winning Silicon Valley scientific tools maker to bring creative STEM adventures to eager young people in underserved communities. Our partners and advisors include a Silicon Valley-based educational scientific tools maker, a founder of the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, the Waterfront Alliance, top science and nature educators, and leaders of major outdoor education and recreation organizations.

Our founders have corporate management experience and are quick learners, so you’ll have an enthusiastic, highly responsive, professional team to work with who deeply value your time and have a good sense of humor.
