Draft Budget Review

Help us strengthen our financial management practices! We are looking for a volunteer financial professional to review our draft budget and ensure that we are calculating projections correctly.

Based on your assessment of our budget, it will help our organization when pursing grant funding. We'd also benefit from a volunteer's recommendations for creating a ‘rainy day fund,’ best practices for achieving a healthy annual surplus, or creating financial scenarios for periods of increased community need.

We predict that this finance project will take from 36-48 hours to complete. We're hoping that our pro bono partner will share two to three hours of their time each week with our team for meeting and project purposes.

Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping us have a sound, thorough budget for our programs and operations, and ensure that we are pursuing adequate revenue to meet the organization mission needs.

To prepare for this project, we have gathered our budgeting file and will share access to this tool. We plan to implement the recommendations of this project by reviewing feedback and comments from the volunteer and accepting changes we feel are appropriate.
