My goal for this Taproot Project is to identify a skilled volunteer who has experience in leadership coaching and strategy implementation. Specifically, we are looking for a mentor for our leaders in implementing strategy. Our organization uses Asana and we would like to maximize its functions to break down high-level strategy into actionable tasks. The volunteer should have a combination of project management, strategy, and mentorship/coaching skills.

At our dynamic nonprofit nestled in southern Zambia, we're transforming lives by providing women's farming cooperatives with solar-powered irrigation systems. This exciting opportunity as a coach isn’t just about project management; it’s about making a tangible impact in communities severely affected by drought. With your guidance, these cooperatives can farm year-round, multiplying their incomes and breaking the cycle of extreme poverty that half the population experiences.

As our volunteer coach, you’ll have direct access to our Asana project management system. We’ve had the pleasure of working with numerous volunteers, and we wholeheartedly appreciate their generous spirit. We value your time and commitment, and we promise to promptly respond to your emails or messages. Our small but agile team makes quick decisions, ensuring our projects stay on track and thrive!

The Harvest Fund's vision is to be an enterprise that builds the agricultural economy while eradicating poverty and promoting environmental sustainability. Our mission is to improve the livelihoods of Zambian female farming cooperatives. In Zambia and similar countries, women are the backbone of agriculture yet toil away with their bare hands and feet and basic tools. The Harvest Fund creates a profitable half-hectare vegetable plot for each of its 10+ cooperatives that is watered year-round with a solar-powered irrigation system. We provide seed, fertilizer, and regenerative agriculture training to make these women farmers more productive and permanently escape poverty.
