We are seeking a volunteer to help us conduct a comprehensive social media audit, which includes analyzing our current strategies, surveying competitors, and reviewing performance across our various channels. The tasks would involve assessing engagement metrics, identifying trends, and comparing our social media presence with similar organizations to understand best practices. Additionally, we'd love help surveying our different platforms—Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn—to evaluate content effectiveness and ensure consistency in our messaging and insights as we plan to update our strategy. . This audit will be crucial in helping us optimize our social media efforts to support our mission of empowering students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
This social media audit will directly support our organization’s mission by strengthening our ability to connect with and inspire our audience. By identifying what content resonates most and optimizing our platforms, we can better engage supporters, attract new donors, and amplify the voices of HBCU students we serve. An improved social media strategy will allow us to share the impact of our programs more effectively, increase visibility, and grow the community rallying behind our mission to empower students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This work is essential for expanding our reach and driving lasting change.
To set this project up for success, we’ll provide the volunteer with access to our social media accounts, Metricool, and analytics tools to gather performance data. We’ll define clear objectives and set a timeline with key milestones. Regular check-ins will ensure collaboration and alignment throughout the process. At the end, the volunteer will deliver actionable insights and recommendations to refine our social media strategy.
