Web Design for Swim Education Nonprofit
SwemKids International is seeking a skilled volunteer to redesign and streamline the SwemSchool website to better communicate our mission and make it easier for users to navigate. The SwemSchool website serves as an essential tool for educating communities on the importance of swimming lessons and water safety, while also allowing easy access for users to find and register for classes.
Our current website, built on Webflow, has become cluttered and challenging for users to navigate. With an overwhelming amount of information, users often struggle to locate classes or proceed through the registration process smoothly. We need a volunteer to refine the design and create a more intuitive, user-centered experience, particularly focusing on guiding users through class selection and registration.
This project will not include the following:
-Web development (execution of web designs)
-Website messaging
SwemKids International has a powerful mission: to eliminate barriers that prevent communities from gaining the life-saving skill of swimming. Our website is visually appealing but needs simplification to truly reach and engage our audience. This project is a unique opportunity to help redesign a website that can make a tangible difference in reducing drowning risks in communities across Metro Atlanta. Your skills will not only enhance user experience but also directly support a mission-driven organization in amplifying its impact.
We currently have a live website at www.swemschool.com, with a range of marketing assets that the volunteer can leverage in the redesign. The goal is to utilize our existing content and brand elements to create a simplified, cohesive site that clearly communicates our mission and makes the registration process intuitive. Once the redesign is complete, we plan to implement the new design in stages, allowing for user testing and feedback to ensure the improvements achieve a seamless and engaging user experience.
