Develop a Strategy for Newsletter List Growth
Want to work to contact healthcare professionals and get them engaged with the most important crisis of our time? Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility (WPSR) seeks a volunteer to create help us grow our list of Washington-based physicians and healthcare professionals engaged in climate activism via a marketing strategy aimed at expanding membership and email reach.
The project will involve crafting messages that resonate with these groups and formulating strategies that bring new individuals into our fold. We hope that a volunteer can utilize content marketing and digital campaigns to boost sign-ups. As an organization comprised of health professionals in Washington state, there is a limited universe of individuals in which we aim to capitalize on and bring into our work.
Join WPSR in making a real impact on climate and health advocacy! We’re seeking a marketing professional to help grow our climate and health email list, empowering us to engage more supporters and drive change that improves the health of the population and our climate. Your expertise will shape a strategy to expand our outreach, amplify our message, and build a network of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving air quality, ending fossil fuel infrastructure, and transitioning our society to sustainable energy sources and clean transit. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills for a cause that merges environmental sustainability and public health.
WPSR has dedicated staff who are ready to partner closely with the volunteer, providing guidance, resources, and timely feedback. We have all sorts of existing content related to our climate and health initiatives, including newsletters, reports and educational materials, and a network of healthcare professionals that can be leveraged for this project. Additionally, we have access to analytics tools to assess our current web and outreach performance, and plenty of flexibility in terms of how we can go about implementing new strategies. A volunteer will not be restricted by exhaustive communications review processes or red tape.
