WordPress Website Management and Training

Opus 118 Harlem School of Music is looking for someone to help us update our website, opus118.org. Currently, we use WordPress to update our site, but we are finding that it is clunky and hard to update without messing up the formatting. As a one-person team, I would love for someone to help train me on how to do the updates so we can be a self-sufficient program.

For over 30 years Opus 118 Harlem School of Music has provided high-quality music instruction to the underserved youth of East Harlem. With a wide variety of programming Opus 118 serves our community with tuition-free group violin instruction during regular school hours and after school and we need help sharing our message and vision to the world! In the early 2000s, Opus 118 has made into a movie staring Meryl Streep called Music of the Heart, however the world needs an update. Please consider sharing your knowledge and gift of website design to help make our mission more visible to the world.

Having been Managing Director for less than a year, I have updated the website as best I can, however, it is still a work in progress. As for preparations, I have all the documents that my organization made about the website and I have the passwords and credentials to make updates. As for implementation, I would love to have a launch of the new website sometime next year with updated photos and information about Opus 118 and just need support to help finish the project.
