Develop a Marketing & Communications Strategy

We are looking for a skilled marketing volunteer to help us launch a better marketing campaign for our music school. We are a very small team working to build on our 45 year legacy as one of Dublin's most popular community music schools. We recently had a significant drop in registration due to circumstances that were out of our hands, and we are trying to recover so we can build up enough revenue to secure a new location for our 2025/2026 school year. We currently do not have a dedicated marketing staff member, and we need help designing and executing a plan to build engagement and enrolment. We offer individual music lessons, group classes, ensembles, performance opportunities, theory and musicianship courses, and are building up a few workshops that will begin to launch this term. We also host professional live performances and our annual Newpark Festival, a popular music competition in the area that offers winners a chance to perform at our Festival Gala at the end of the year in a prestigious venue. If someone could help us with this for a few weeks to help us get some momentum going, that would be a massive help.

We are well-prepared to implement this marketing project with the resources, staff, and time required for success. Currently, we have established social media accounts on all major platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, along with a robust email list connecting us to a dedicated community of parents, students, and supporters. This gives us a strong foundation for executing and sustaining targeted marketing campaigns.

Our team consists of two dedicated staff members who are ready to prioritize this project and work closely with a volunteer to create and implement an effective marketing plan. We have clearly defined roles, ensuring that responsibilities are managed efficiently and that new strategies can be launched quickly. Our team’s familiarity with our audience allows us to provide clear direction and valuable feedback throughout the process.

Once the project is complete, we plan to roll out the new marketing strategies immediately, utilizing our existing platforms to maximize reach and engagement. We will closely monitor performance metrics and adjust as needed to ensure the strategies drive enrollment and increase community involvement.
