About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and skilled marketing volunteer to assist our team in crafting a marketing strategy to promote our end-of-year fundraising campaign.

As a 501(c)(3) dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia, our mission is to provide these animals with a second chance through our Prison Dog Training program. This initiative not only offers advanced obedience training but also prepares suitable dogs to become life-changing service animals for veterans suffering from PTSD.

The project deliverable: an outline of the marketing plan for our end-of-year fundraiser, suggested messaging for our key audiences, and tactics we can use to promote the fundraiser through key marketing channels (email, Facebook, etc.).

This project will NOT include:
-Designing collateral
-Implementing the marketing campaign
-Measuring success of campaign

We have the campaign developed last year as an example of what didn't work for us. We can share current marketing collateral and will make ourselves available at any time to address questions. We are ready to implement campaign plans as soon as it is developed.

Organization Mission

We rescue "at risk" shelter dogs and place them into our obedience training program. Our mission is to train them to become the highest quality service dogs (at no cost) to military veterans. Our focus is on the many veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD.) We also provide temporary housing and care (including veterinary support) for the dogs of military veterans while they participate in health care programs.
