Financial Management Documentation

We need a skilled finance volunteer who can create a financial document related to our new scholarship fund. This document should outline the structure of the fund including the portion accruing interest in a money market account, disbursements, and other financial management practices that our organization follows as it relates to this fund.

The volunteer who completes this project will meet some memorable characters and make a HUGE impact. There's only one university in Haiti that hasn't missed a day of in-person classes -- the University of Fondwa. In spite of all the turmoil over the past few years, the rural area where it is situated has stayed peaceful. Meanwhile prospective students are less likely to be able to pay tuition than ever before. The scholarship fund has the goal of enabling 200 students per year to attend the University of Fondwa in Haiti tuition-free.

The document you will create is a key reference that will guide leaders of the fund for years to come as well as enable potential funders to perform their due diligence.

This document will live on our website and be submitted to potential funders. We have an outline of how the fund will function and we already have funders for the first two years. The next step is to transmute the outline into legal-ish language with all the accounting information in a form that is attractive and accessible.
