Product Management Support for WordPress Site Revamp

We are looking for a WordPress expert/developer with strong design and product sense and some project management skills to oversee the redesign of our website. This volunteer will need to implement recommendations provided during our Website Audit within the WordPress admin experience. You will be updating an existing website. This project will involve expert knowledge of WordPress, and likely making PHP/html/css/Javascript updates to the existing theme.

This is a 4-5 week long project. Our goal is to have the changes completed by early December. We may need to continue working past that for any additional updates we haven't had time to implement.

While we've had a website for many years, it has not been optimized for volunteer engagement and friendliness of navigation. This academic year 2024-2025 is 15 years that our nonprofit has offered programming and we want to have an updated website to support us in our expansion efforts. It will make a big difference as we expand our funding efforts and volunteer engagement efforts.

We are looking for someone with expertise in WordPress who is also excited about I M U Peace Club's mission and vision, follow our guiding principles (Value diversity, creativity and fun / Communicate with honesty, curiosity and empathy /Act with transparency, kindness and non-violence) and is kind, effective and a team player.

A terrific website audit has been conducted and we have lots of excellent recommendations. We now need someone who can offer their time and expertise as a WordPress expert to make changes and take our website to the next level.

The ED will be supporting with content, text, photos, and any questions. We are also able to reach out to the initial website developer with any questions.
