Communications Plan

Our nonprofit needs support crafting a templated communications plan for our upcoming fundraiser. We hope to use this framework for our upcoming fundraiser.

We need your expertise to communicate big moments for our nonprofit clearly, concisely, and consistently. We are looking for a skilled communications professional to:
-Create a checklist to guide our organization through the who, what, when, and how of sharing program updates
-This checklist should pull in all the various channels that our nonprofit should use to reach staff, users, clients, volunteers, or funders so we have a standardized plan for outreach
-The templated communications plan should take into account our current marketing tools and staff availability

At Bahini Education Project, our mission is to educate and empower young women in rural Nepal. This is our first fundraising event and we hope to attract attention and participants. Your expertise can be the catalyst for change, helping us reach more people, garner support, and ultimately empower more young women. If you are passionate about making a difference, if you believe in the power of education and empowerment, and if you have skills in marketing and/or communications, we invite you to join our team as a volunteer for this project.

To prepare for the creation of this communications checklist, we have taken stock of existing email, PR, or social media tactics that have worked well for our team in the past. We will implement the results of this project this summer.
