Grant Proposal Review
Our nonprofit is searching for a grant writer or talented copywriter to assist our team in reviewing a grant proposal and making updates.
To implement this grant writing project, we'll need two meetings with a volunteer. In our first meeting, we will provide you with a copy and review the application draft with you. We'll align on expectations and agree on the project timeline. Next, you'll review our document using the track changes function checking for inconsistencies and continuity errors, and creates a list of recommended changes to share with us. The project will conclude after up to two rounds of edits which the volunteer will make the agreed-upon changes to the document.
Securing funding is our top priority at this stage of our journey. Since being established in 2017, the organization has received just $3000 in grant money. This means that the vast majority of expenses related to operations, programming, materials, marketing, electronic equipment and more have been funded by our Executive Director. He has also taken on the tasks of building the website, filing all necessary paperwork, developing the programs, coordinating outreach efforts, facilitating events, and all other administrative functions. This is not a sustainable model and has ultimately stifled the organization's growth, progress, and impact. Securing funding to cover basic operating costs, as well as programming costs will be a huge milestone for MyheART, allowing us the means to hire expert help where it's needed most.
We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with the document that needs to be reviewed in an easily shareable format (Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.). We'll also send you the proposal and application guidelines.
