Tax Filing
Our nonprofit is seeking a volunteer who can help file the tax return for Visions of the World Inc,. I missed the filing date for this year, so this support is needed as soon as possible.
ABOUT THE PROJECT: Visions of the World, Inc. presents…LIFE Behind Bars, a Photographic Study by Julian Starks that is the most comprehensive photographic study to date of exotic and endangered animals and the necessity of their being kept in captivity for their own protection, and that of their species. Short text is included that highlights information about the featured animals and the very real risk of many species potentially becoming extinct in the shockingly near future. Julian traveled all over the United States to institutions and sanctuaries to document these stunning creatures in environments which for the most part replicate their natural habitats so well that these creatures are no longer threatened but living full, happy lives.
VISIONS OF THE WORLD INC. was created with the mission to raise awareness, change perceptions, educate and support those who need representation. When photographing the animals for LIFE Behind Bars Vol. 1 a Photographic Study by Julian Starks, I realized the importance and often thankless work and effort the wild animal sanctuaries and conservations groups do in saving species and how crucial it is for me to give back and support their efforts to protect and preserve endangered species.
A portion of the proceeds of LIFE Behind Bars Vol. 1 a Photographic Study by Julian Starks book sales and associated merchandise will go directly to these institutions.
Next project…Visions of the World Inc. presents…"LIFE Behind Bars…Except if You’re Free" Vol. 2, which promises to delve into the lives of Gorillas and Big African Cats in their natural African habitats. This forthcoming volume aims to present a sharp contrast between animals in captivity and those roaming free, enhancing the public's emotional connection to wildlife and bolstering conservation efforts.
The first goal of this project is to present the safaris in Rwanda (Gorillas) & Kenya and Tanzania (Big Cats) as models of species protection and conservation. The second goal of this undertaking is to create an emotional connection through pictures between people and the animals. The third goal is the ultimate comparison book of Animals in captivity vs. Animals in the Wild! Gorillas and Big Cats!
We are dedicating this second book in this series of books to DIAN FOSSEY, whose work regarding the conservation of the Mountain Gorilla’s has been an inspiration for our project.
